Wow wow wow and I even got to meet the owner! Gluten-free Everything! Amazing 😍 and delicious! After 20+ years of being gluten-free, this is hands down my favorite gluten free place! I had to have as much as my stomach could take! Dill fried pickles are so delicious and I love the ranch dressing! Mozzarella cheese sticks are delicious....chunky marinara sauce but tasty reminds me of a no spice salsa, the onion rings are just 😘 chefs kiss! The burgers and breaded chicken sandwich are another must! And to top it off....the Mac n cheese , with gluten-free free bread crumbs! Wow! Just wow! If you get anything, get that!!!! Can't wait to come back and try more!!! Why can't these restaurants be everywhere!!! Actually more like... These gluten free, allergy friendly restaurants NEED to be everywhere!!

Having been recently diagnosed with celiac, I came across this place and wanted to try it out. I am SO happy I did! We went a little crazy and got burgers (comes with fries), onion rings, and mac and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious! Not exaggerating when I say the fries were the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu! Whether you can or can’t eat gluten, you need to go here!

My daughter (8) was just recently diagnosed with celiacs. This place was just a wonderful experience that made her feel like she could just order food without having to go into the usual “I have celiacs” discussion. Food amazing. Great options for kids, although my daughter really wished there was an hot dog on the menu. Best gluten free bread we have tasted yet, and fries were delicious. The staff were really kind. The cashier ended up giving my daughter a sugar cookie and me a list of a few places to find gluten free options. Really wish Lansing had a place like this, but we might just have to make more trips out to Grand Rapids to eat here.

It was wonderful to be able to eat everything on the menu without woory for cross contamination. The food was excellent if I lived in the area it would be my go to eatery. I also highly recommend the chocolate cake.

I have been reading about how amazing Papa Chops Eatery is for ages, and finally had the chance to try it myself. I was honestly nervous about coming here— not because of cross contamination Obviously! …But becuase I had such high expectations that I didn’t want to be disappointed. You know, a ‘never meet your heroes’ kind of situation. Well, Papa Chops far exceeded my expectations and is definitely my hero! Dinner was delicious! The most difficult part was deciding what to eat. As a person with Celiac Disease, It’s an overwhelming treat to have the pick of the entire menu😂. We shared mozzarella sticks (huge!), fried pickles (ohhh my), mac & cheese, and a nashville chicken sandwich. The gluten-eating husband still can’t believe how good it all was. And that’s after an entire day of my selfishly planned road trip filled with dedicated-GF only stops! The dining side of the restaurant is simple but clean and spacious, and the staff was extremely friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try some other menu items.

We went to Papa Chops for my birthday. Met my in-laws there (we live 2+ hours apart). They drove 50 mins, we drove 1.5 hours and it was well worth the drive. I am the only gluten free person and we all enjoyed the meal. We ordered several things off the menu and share all of them so we could all get a taste. Ordered Hawaiian pizza, bread sticks, bluegill fish and chips, Big Papa burger, chicken noodle soup, and mac and cheese. They were all fantastic. MIL was very impressed with the soup and FIL loved the bluegill. Husband especially liked the burger and fries. I loved everything! It's pricey if you're not used to the up-charge you pay for gluten free at other restaurants, but we were fully expecting the price especially considering it is a mostly scratch kitchen. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was ready sooner than we expected. All in all a great experience. We will definitely go back before my next birthday.

It was amazing beyond my wildest imagination. I had the fish and chips and it was incredible. The french fries are perfect. The fish was so crispy and hot and delicious. I can't wait to go back and get onion rings or pizza or anything on the menu because I can eat literally everything on the menu.

Always a lovely experience. Got the Rabachi Wrap subbing the tomatoes for jalapenos and some onion rings. The onion rings are crazy crunchy with super soft onions that don't pull out the whole ring. The wrap was exactly what I needed too. Their homemade sauces are always great, especially the dipping sauce that came with the onion rings. Highly highly recommend if you're in the area shopping or need a quick lunch on your work break.

I’m not even gluten free, but I came with my partner. Aaron was so kind, welcoming, and attentive to allergies and made sure every allergy my partner had was covered. Such a gem of a place and I enjoyed every bit of my meal. Sadly we live in Chicago, but would come back to Grand Rapids just for Papa CHOPS!!!!!

Awesome all gluten free restaurant. The food quality and taste is great, not just for GF, but for any place. Loved the chicken sandwiches, both breaded chicken and grilled. Get the Nashville if you like spicy. Enjoyed great French fries and fried pickles too. The owner is a celiac and has crafted a menu with great flavors and fun options. We’ll be back anytime we are in Grand Rapids.
